Penang Island
In response to foreign demands seeking nostalgic heritage ambience for destination photography, we are currently seeking to promote Penang Island as our next unique destination. Once occupied by British colonial powers, this fascinating island is today a rich legacy of heritage buildings along a number of major roads including Magazine Road, Sultan Ahmad Shah Road, Burmah Road, Prangin Creek and Muntri Street. Recognizing her rich heritage, its capital city George Town is listed as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site in the recent years.
Apart from its rich architectural heritage, Penang is also a haven for grand gastronomic adventure. Due to many hints of diverse influences, her food also bears evidences of a rich melting pot of cultures.
